A Fall Day at Pingle's Farm in Hampton

Fall in Durham Region means one thing for our family: a trip out to Pingle's Farm in Hampton. This year we went apple picking, checked out the Harvest Festival, wandered through the farm market and let our little one run around and enjoy all the fall fun.

If you haven't been, here's what makes it such a good day out:

• Pick-your-own flowers, berries and apples, depending on the season
• Lots of activities for kids
• Live music
• A whole variety of food trucks
• A farm market to browse before you head home

Hampton is a short drive from Stouffville, Whitby and Oshawa, and it's a great example of what I love about living in this part of Ontario. You can go from town to farm country in a few minutes, and there's always something happening on the weekend.
